Slide Executive started out by being a web-only solution where people would go to gather slides, build presentations and then download them to their computers. We then realized that most PowerPoint users would probably prefer doing all of this from within PowerPoint itself.
To accomodate this requirement we've brought most of the functionality from the web into our PowerPoint Add-In named Slide Executive xPoint. This allows the content managers to manage presentations through the web interface and allows the users to operate in their natural PowerPoint environment. The Web integration parts of Slide Executive xPoint do not require any additional licenses. Should the user wish to unlock the Desktop features of xPoint that can be done on a per user bases.
